It reminds me of my very first winter in upstate New York (where I was going to school)and my first view of icicles hanging off of the eaves of the old house I lived in, so you've triggered a delightful memory for me! You've done an amazing job of capturing the bumpiness and glistening texture of the icicles!Diane Perinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07447372718275554860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089615911925785137.post-91922471790159172212011-01-12T14:03:33.805-05:002011-01-12T14:03:33.805-05:00It is fabulous. It is fabulous.Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05077645270052587033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089615911925785137.post-40494166552257813012011-01-12T09:11:38.045-05:002011-01-12T09:11:38.045-05:00You definitely captured those icicles, but I agree...You definitely captured those icicles, but I agree with your assessment of the power lines. They all need to be thicker. It also needs the ice on the tops of the parallel power lines for continuity with the icicles.

I love your sketches!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089615911925785137.post-64953469944521653262011-01-11T23:04:24.486-05:002011-01-11T23:04:24.486-05:00The icicles really look icy, wet and cold! Then I used watercolors to color it. I will probably go back with white or gray and add the highlights.
