You can check out Pat Sloan’s interview with Linda on January 3 2011. Scroll down and listen on your computer or download.
Starting in March, Aurifil will pick one random winner each month who has made one of the designer projects; she or he will receive a special Aurifil thread prize. You can make any of the designer projects (and we hope you make them all!) To participate, simply share your photos at our Flickr Folder... we can't WAIT to see what you do.

GIVEAWAY!
Each month this year, I’m going to be giving away a pack of Aurifil minispools (like the one shown above) when the new project is announced. Just leave me a comment here to tell me what you think of Linda’s projects. I'll pull a name at random next Friday, Feb. 11 at noon. The sampler pack includes great colors in different weights. Congratulations to Kathleen in Montana; she won this giveaway.
I think her Letter holder is sweet! I was thinking it would be nice to keep in hanging around for note pad and pen and my grocery list even after Valentines day is over with. It is just sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright and cheery heart! I hope it brings happy thoughts.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteI think both projects are fast and fun! I really like the font on the letter holder. I agree, you could keep it busy all year round with projects and notes from your kids. Thanks for the chance at some yummy thread.
ReplyDeleteI love making little pillows, fun and quick to do.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of filling a basket with hearts, great use of scraps too.
Debbie

ReplyDeleteI am in love with your thread and you and Linda! Hearts all around!!! ♥♥♥♥♥ Lynn
ReplyDeleteThe wonky heart pillow is so cheerful. The letter holder would be great for kids to use for their valentines for school. Would enjoy the thread for sure.
ReplyDeleteCute projects that I could do with my grandkids! They love stuffing pillows and the hearts would be fun. Love Aurifil threads!
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute heart. Here's hoping for lots of cards.
ReplyDeleteI think the letter holder would be nice on every one's chair around the table. We could all put home made cards in each other's holders! In fact, I think that's what I'll do this year. Great idea, Linda!
ReplyDeleteThe little pillow is so sweet....I'm thinking gifts for my grandkids! The card holder is very cute and useful! Love them both! Thanks for the chance to win some awesome thread. I've only tried the 50 weight...would love to try more.
ReplyDeleteThat pillow tugs at my heart strings!
ReplyDeleteI really like the happy of her designs!
ReplyDeleteI love the pillow. I have a special great granddaughter who is the pink princess and she would love this
ReplyDeleteAudrey
Her projects have a bright, fresh look!
ReplyDeleteI love both these projects!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I shall be making the heart pillow!
I love the Love letter holder. It would be great to store children's art, Christmas cards, notes or reminders or small gifts for someone to find when they get home, small hand work projects ready to go.... The idea would work for so many things!
ReplyDeleteI love Linda's projects, they are always happy! Thanks for the chance to win some thread!
ReplyDeleteLinda is a wonderfully inspirational quilter with adorable children. I am so pleased that she is the Aurifil's Designer of the Month for February. I haven't ever tried their thread and would love to. To win a pack of minispools would be fantastic! ~Kathleen
ReplyDeleteCute heart pillow, teen age girls will love this.
ReplyDeleteI had fun doing your project, the leaf quilt. My quilt leaves came out wonky. But I will be making more
ReplyDeleteThe pocket for cards on the back of a chair is such a good idea, Susan! I can always use more thread. Thanks for counting me in.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had time to do your leaf quilt! It looks like so much fun! The letter holder is sweet too, if we only did not have roundbacked chairs, lol!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that came to my mind was that the letter holder would be great for a teacher to have! I imagined all the little kids, putting their Valentine cards in it.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern would also be great to make for a December project. I would fill it with holiday cards too! :)
Wonderful give-a-way! I only recently discovered Aurifil threads. So far, I like them a LOT!
The letter holder has infinite possibilities. I thought the pillow was just a cute little doodad until further "clicking" brought up a photo of someone holding it --and it's not tiny.
ReplyDeleteThe heart pillow is just perfect for this season.
ReplyDeleteGreat, quick and easy project that won't over tax you for the month of love. Linda did a great job
ReplyDeleteLinda's patterns are cute and lucious. Remind of cupcakes and sweetness. Thanks for sharing.
