E...This is fabulous! Can't wait for your book..
Excellent explanation for how you decide to do thread sketching or quilting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089615911925785137.post-72468349410123264982011-05-20T18:03:02.235-04:002011-05-20T18:03:02.235-04:00I love the close-ups so that I can see the stitchi...I love the close-ups so that I can see the stitching, as well as read what your thought process was while your were constructing the quilt. It's a beautiful piece! LSAS2 is great stuff, isn't it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089615911925785137.post-5435178040684015482011-05-20T13:44:34.547-04:002011-05-20T13:44:34.547-04:00Debbie, I almost always use Pellon 910. The other interfacing that works great for my technique is called Heavy Weight Shaping Aid. I buy both at my local Hancock Fabrics. For fusible adhesives, I like Lite Steam-a-Seam 2. It works great for my process because it is a good weight; because it has two paper sides; and because it is slightly sticky so that the small pieces stay in place before I fuse them down, but can still be repositioned until they are fused.Susan Brubaker Knapphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16490050360258082767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5089615911925785137.post-25708377299506655462011-05-20T13:22:20.011-04:002011-05-20T13:22:20.011-04:00I love the depth in the cobs, really nice shadowin...I love the depth in the cobs, really nice shadowing.
I am glad you mentioned what you use for fusible. I got the pellon 805, but find it a pain to peel off and with fancy stitches, I got puckering. I bought some heat and bond heavy to try and that is ok, but still not great. Will look for the 910, next time I hit the store.

DebbieWoolenSailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08621977477193550261noreply@blogger.com
