I thought about doing beads or hand stitching (a simple "chicken scratch" with Perle Cotton would have been cool, I think), but I'm doing this for a friend (who did something nice for me) and I need to get it in the mail to him, so I didn't have time. Next time! I think I'm going to do more of these. Probably a little bigger in size; this one is only 4x6". <BR/><BR/>I did brush the dye on, but I used one of those things that is more like the tip of a felt-tip pen, and not a brush. This let me control it more.
