Hibiscus is stitched! This is the last of three samples completed for my Wholecloth Painting workshop. Whew! I painted and stitched all three of these small quilts (about 8" x 12" each) in the past five days.
lovely. amazing how much you accomplished this week. do your shoulders hurt from all that stitching? just wondering....I find too much machine quilting gets my shoulders up to my ears....not good.
Brenda, They are all such tiny pieces that I wasn't stitching long! Have you tried doing shoulder rolls every 15 minutes. It helps relax your shoulders and reminds you to have good posture while you stitch.
Susan if you keep this up I'm going to need a defibulator. Do you sell your work? I'm thinking I have to own at least one of your pieces before I die and if I know there is a possibility I can have something wonderful to look forward to.
Ha! Thanks, Kelly. Yes, I do sell it; I have prices on some of it on my website, and need to price more pieces. I'd like to do some more small pieces to sell, since the price-points would be more affordable for more people. I'd love to make a piece just for you! I generally price it at $200-250 a square foot. If you have something in mind, let's talk.

ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. I almost want to reach out and pick it.
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing your work, it really makes me want to try it. I will have to take some floral shots and see what I can come up with.
